Live Update:

Update is totally automatic. When you Log On on a trading day during Trading Hours (12:15 AM - 11:45 PM), the live update comes on automatically. If you want to see older trading days history just click the date you want to examine on the History Date Control. The current trading-days live update keeps running in the background.

The TrendCatch servers starts to scan the markets around the world and compute/train the underlying Artificial Neural Networks right after midnight. Around 12:15 AM (United States Eastern Time), the transmission of the live prices to our customers start. When TrendCatch detects a price pattern which can be used to calculate the trend, the price is logged and sent to our customers together with the new trend information.

The update can occur several times during a minute. As soon as TrendCatch detects a Price Pattern useful for computing the current Trend the price is updated.

TrendCatch compute the Main Trend depending on the market volatility and other factors. Because of the nature of this, it is not possible in advance to know exactly when the first Trend Change Information takes place and how many changes will happen during the trading day.

Until the data collection has finished, Users are informed about the Estimated Start-time through the Alert Icons:

Red: > 1 Hour; Blue: < 1 Hour > 30 Minutes; Yellow: < 30 Minutes > 10 Minutes; Green: < 10 Minutes.

TrendCatch server has all ticks and uses all ticks to calculate the Trend Change Information. When TrendCatch detects a price pattern as a usable trade pattern, the price is updated. That is why there can be several updates during each minute. In theory our servers receive the data from the exchange at least at the same time as our customers have the data on their computers (depending on Internet traffic and so on). We then have to calculate the TREND, and then send the computed result to our customers. That is why the live data feed our customers receive from their Broker/ Exchange will always be "in front" of the Trend Change Alert Information - normally between 2-5 sec.

In TRIAL Mode the updates are delayed 20 minutes or more depending on market volatility!

Make sure your computers day and time is correct as TrendCatch will not be able to Update correctly if you do not have the correct date and time.
